Starman Jr.

This is the easiest battle in the game, because there is no possible way to lose. Just keep bashing him, and Buzz Buzz will put up a PSI shield on everyone, and PSI is the only method of attacking this guy uses. Just keep bashing away and Buzz Buzz will attack occasionally doing major damage, and this guy will be fried in no time.

Frank

Make sure you've got your best weapons and armor equipped, and stock up on hamburgers, because they really help out here. Frank is pretty tough, at least compared to anything you've fought yet. Just bash away and lifeup or use a hamburger if your HP gets to low. Of course, if you really want to beat him easily, try getting to level eight and taking him out with PSI Rockin!

Frankystein Mark II

While being stronger than him, Frank's robot is even easier to beat. Every second turn it lets out a burst of steam, which has no effect whatsoever. Use that to your advantage, and Bash him down, recovering HP when necessary.

Titanic Ant

This is the first sanctuary boss, and he comes with two smaller minions, Black Antoids. As he can drain your PP with PSI magnet, I recommend using it all up first with as much PSI Rockin as you can through at him. This means though, that you need hamburgers to keep your HP up, so don't use all of your PP if you came without them. The PSI Rockin should just about finish him off, so use Bashing attacks until he falls. The first melody is yours!

Crooked Cops

These would be pretty easy, but they all come at you one after another giving you no time to lifeup in between fights. Bash away at them, and eat hamburgers/lifeup when necessary, and you'll defeat the Onett police force with ease. But don't use PSI Rockin on anymore than one of them because you need your PP for...

Captain Strong

The fifth cop chickens out and calls for his boss. Use PSI Rockin on him if you have enough PP, and if you don't just Bash away and recover when you get low on HP. Most of the time he just guards, but when he does attack you he's pretty powerful. But still, he shouldn't be much of a match for you, and will soon be opening the road to Twoson for you.

Everdred

You should be at full Health or this battle, as there is no dungeon or cave or anything to go through to get to him, so just blast him with PSI Rockin and lifeup if you need it.

Carpainter

Assuming you have the Franklin badge, this guy is easy. If you don't have the Franklin badge you can't even fight him, so don't worry about it. Bash away at him, PSI lifeup if you need it. He'll use Crashing Boom Bang attacks that will be reflected upon him, dealing major damage. If he doesn't use his powers of electricity you can use PSI Rockin to speed up the battle if you're inpatient.

Mondo Mole

This boss can either be your easiest or hardest fight yet. If you fight him now, he'll be very difficult as Paula is weak and is beaten easily, but the exp. you get will be very rewarding. On the other hand, nothing is making you fight this guy, and you could return to do it later in the game. Perhaps so much later that you have all four of your party members. Anyway, if you choose to fight him now, level up Paula before you fight him. Use PSI Rockin/Lifeup, then bash when your PP gets low enough you want to save it all for recovery, and PSI Thunder from Paula, as it is the only PSI attack she has that will hurt him, and will break any shields he puts up. Keep fighting this way, and if you manage to beat him with Paula still well, have a cookie, you've earned it.

Boogey Tent

Bash away at this guy with Ness, use your strongest form of PSI Fire with Paula, and Shoot at him with Jeff. If you wish you can use Jeff's Big Bottle Rocket, but I recommend saving it for a later battle where you'll need more. Keep everybody's HP high, and the Boogey Tent will go down easily.

Master Belch

Assuming you rooted through the trash can that appeared where the Boogey Tent fell, this is one of the easiest fights in the game. Just give him the Fly Honey, and he'll lose his mind wolfing it down. As it never runs out, and he never stops eating it, just beat him any way you want. After he starts eating you can't lose.

Trillionage Sprout

Try as hard as you can not to have a mushroom on your head in this battle! Avoid fighting the mushrooms on your way hear, and go back to the springs to get it off if you receive one. The reason is you want to use your best attacks on this guy and a mushroom could be fatal. Have Ness blast him with PSI Rockin Beta, Paula use PSI Fire Beta, and Jeff use that Big Bottle Rocket I told you to save. If you didn't save it, just shoot, or throw any bombs you might have picked up on the way here. This guy'll go down soon enough if you use your best attacks.

Guardian Diggers

These five guys are all the same strength, but they all want to be the 3rd strongest. Why nobody wants to be the most powerful, I don't know. Anyway, use PSI Rockin and Fire, and make Jeff defend unless he has Big Bottle Rockets! All the moles have Power shields, and will reflect non-PSI attacks, which is all Jeff can use. But a Big Bottle Rocket will take a mole down in one hit, and therefore will not be reflected.

Department Store Spook

Even without Paula, this battle isn't too hard if your prepared. Unleash PSI Rockin Beta and Big Bottle Rockets, and lifeup if you need it, and the terror of the Dept. Store will be gone.

Mani Mani

Again, this guy isn't too hard if you level up properly and bring a good supply of Big Bottle Rockets. Blast him with those and PSI Rockin, and lifeup when necessary, and the city of Moonside will be no more.

Clumsy Robot

Just bash away at this guy, as Big bottle rockets and PSI are of little use. If you have any bombs or got the Bag of Dragonite earlier, use those. Use lifeup when he actuly attacks you with his beam that makes him dizzy. He sometimes eats a bologna sandwich, which fully lives him up and makes you want to scream when he recovers all the damage your items did, but soon enough the Runaway Five will run in and deactivate ham by flipping a switch. (And Jeff is supposed to be a genius? why couldn't we do that?)

Shrooom

As Dr. Andonuts' lab is so close, being a full power for this guy is a breeze. You should have no trouble in taking him down with repeated PSI Rockin Beta, your strongest forms of Fire or Freeze, and Big Bottle Rockets. Collect the melody and be on your way.

Plague Rat of Doom

If your really lucky, he may smile at you through most of the battle, but for those less gifted in luck, blast him with your strongest attacks and keep everybody's HP up. Also keep in mind that your know have a second person who can lifeup.

Thunder & Storm

Make sure somebody, probably Ness as he is the strongest and is most helpful to have alive, has the Franklin Badge. These guys, who fight as one, use Thunder attacks. Hence the name, Thunder & Storm. Just keep hitting them with the best you can dish out, and they'll be beaten. They really aren't that hard.

Kraken

Again, be sure to have the Franklin badge, and use as much Freeze as you can. Kraken is solidified quite easily, and that will be a major help in defeating him, as he tends to attack everyone at once with his fire breath, and to Paula and Poo, this can be fatal. Keep him frozen and smash him with your best stuff, and this boss will be dead soon. Of course, you could never have done it without the help of the sailor's slippers. ;)

Master Barf

Easiest. Boss. Ever. As long as you have a Multi-Bottle Rocket, this guy is easier than an attack slug. Just Make everybody else bash, and get Jeff to fire a Multi-Bottle Rocket, and then you win. Of course if you didn't have the money for MBRs, just use the generic boss strategy, hit him with your best stuff. And remember that he won't take the fly honey this time.

Starman Deluxe

Oh wait, did I say the last boss was the easiest? Well this guy is just as easy. A well aimed MBR will toast him before he can react. If you don't have any, make everybody Bash until Jeff can get him with the Shield Killer, then go after him with PSI.

Electro Specter

Franklin Badge, and no PSI. That's about all you need to remember for this fight. Just keep Bash/Shooting away, and remember to watch you HP, and he'll be no problem.

Carbon Dog

Erm, look at the guy. If you can't figure out how to beat him, you've obviously been following guides to have made it this far. FREEZE! Although if you're daring, use a MBR which will immediately bring us to...

Diamond Dog

When you beat Carbon Dog, he turns into Diamond Dog. If you shot that MBR to beat CB, Jeff is probably dead now, as he will reflect it. If you managed to save Jeff, or return consciousness to him, use the shield killer before letting do anything like that again. Use your best PSI, and MBRs if you killed his shield or don't mind making poor Jeff suffer, and you will have all eight melodies before you know it.

Ness's Nightmare

This guy is tough. He'd be a major pushover if you has all your party members, but you don't. If you managed to preserve a Flying Man for this battle, you wasted your time, as he'll be dead before he can make a difference. He has a PSI shield, so Bash him until it disappears, then use PSI Rockin Gamma/Omega. Lifeup when necessary, and be careful, as he can really dish out the damage by using your attacks (he is the evil side of you you know). After you beat him, you'll get tons of power, and Magicant will be no more.

Heavily Armed Pokey

There are three phases in beating Giygas, and in the first one you ignore him completely. Attack Pokey with strong attacks and a few bottle rockets, and you'll move on to the next phase.

Giygas

When Pokey turns of the Devil's machine, revealing Giygas' true form, that's when you are in the second phase. Just blast him with everything you can, while preserving Ness and Poo's PP enough for lifeup, and You'll move on to the third phase, where you must have Paula use her pray command nine times to defeat Giygas. While Paula is praying, use Ness and Poo to keep everyone alive, and do what ever you want with Jeff, because unless you keep healing items with you, he's useless here. After nine prayers, you will get to witness the defeat of Giygas, and the ending.
