“The Future of Earth” By EarthBoundFreak Part 1 I swung, but I missed, he was too fast for me. He jumped at me with incredible speed, and hit me right in my stomach. I fell over crying in pain. “You fight pretty good for someone with no training.” Poo said. “Unngahh…” I muttered, while trying to get up. “Come on, you two! We have to get going!” Paula said. “Well, where are we off to next?” Poo asked. “I guess we should go back to Summers, there’s no where else to go.” I said. Paula, Poo, Jeff, and I came together and used Teleport Beta to go to Summers. We appeared right in front of the museum. We decided to walk inside, since there was nothing else to do. Inside were tons of people; all gathered around one podium. “What’s going on here?” I asked. “Looks like a convention! Let’s go check it out!” Paula said running over to some of the exhibits. “Hmm… there are some interesting artifacts here!” Jeff said wandering off. “Well, it looks like it’s just me and you…” I said as I turned around, but Poo was nowhere to be found. “Bah, oh well.” I said to myself. I started walking around and noticed a few cool things myself. Then I noticed a small scroll with some text on it. It seemed to be in Ancient Egyptian, but for some weird reason, I could read it. It said, “Those who see the truth, will see their destiny before them.” “You like what you see, yes?” A man wearing a turban asked. “Yes, this is very interesting.” I said. “You come with me, I show you very interesting artifacts!” He said. He took me to the back room. There on a table was another scroll. I opened it up and read it. This one said, “What you see now, isn’t the truth. The truth may only be seen with the eye of an eagle and the heart of a god.” “I don’t understand these scrolls.” I said to the man. “Yes, no one can interpret what they say. It is very big mystery…” said the man. “No, I can read them, but I just don’t understand what they mean.” I said. “What? You can read scrolls? But no one knows this kind of Ancient Egyptian writing!” he said. “It says, ‘what you see now, isn’t the truth. The truth may only be seen with the eye of an eagle and the heart of a god.’ Do you know what this means?” I asked. “Eye of an eagle, heart of god… The Eye of an Eagle is a treasured ruby that is held in Dalaam by the prince. I’m not sure what ‘heart of god’ stands for.” The man said. “We do have copies of this scroll. Here take it!” The man said as he gave me the copy. “Thank you. I must be going now, I need to find my friends.” I said as I started leaving. The crowd of people had vanished. There standing by the entrance was Paula, Jeff, and Poo. “Where have you been? We were worried that you left already!” Paula said. “They had some pretty neat stuff here! So anyways, where are we going now, Ness?” Jeff asked. “Well, I got a copy of this scroll. It said something about the Eye of an Eagle. Do you have that jewel, Poo?” I asked. “The Eye of Eagle jewel? Yes, I have that back in Dalaam for safe keeping.” Poo said. “Would you mind if I saw it?” I asked. “I guess so, let’s go.” We all walked outside and teleported to Dalaam. Inside Poo’s Mansion was a room filled with treasure. “I believe it is somewhere in here!” Poo said. We started searching through the treasure, until Jeff came upon it. “Is this it?” Jeff asked. “Yes, that is the jewel.” Poo said. Jeff handed the jewel to me. I gazed into it and saw what seemed to be a small heart. A few seconds later it started to change colors. All of a sudden *BAM!* the ruby hit me right between the eyes. “Agh! Get it off!” I yelled. Right then I started blacking out. After I woke up, I took the jewel off my face and looked around, but no one was there. “Hello?” I asked. I looked around, but no one was here. It was like I left Dalaam and went to a different place. I got up and walked around, I was in a huge cave. At one end there was a small light, and at the other was just darkness. I started walking in one direction, until a loud rumbling came. A small creature came running at me with incredible speed. “Who are you?” It asked. “I’m…” I said as the creature cut me off. “There’s no time for that! We have to go now! Giygas is about to find out I have stolen his Starman prototype!” The creature said. It pulled me along with him to the end of the cave and into a small hut. “Wait a second… you look just like Buzz Buzz!” I said. “What? How do you know my name?” It said. “You are Buzz Buzz? But you died a couple months ago!” I said. “You must be confused, I used to work for Giygas, the ultimate evil, until I realized that he had a plot to destroy the universe.” It said. “What year is it?” I asked. “Well, we lost track of that after Giygas destroyed all life on this planet but us… I guess it would be around the year 200X!” he said. “Wow, that’s 10 years ahead of where I’m from!” I said.
