I know I don't look that pleasant, but whatever happened to not judging a
book by its cover? Do you wanna know the real story behind the, 'terrible
beast'? Listen up.
I generally like to keep to myself, I'm just not very social. One day I
was off to the fish market, when I bumped into a ship. Quite literally in
fact. I started to apologize, but everybody freaked out and screamed and
jumped off the ship and tried to swim for safety. I good deal of them
drowned, but naturally, enough of them lived to spread the stories of the
'terrible sea beast' who 'brutally attacked the ship' then 'howled with
rage towards them' before 'destroying the ship entirely'.
Of course after that, nearly every ship that went out to sea came back
with stories of how I attacked them. Dispite the fact that I had had only
one encounter with humans, I was know thought to be the cause for the
destruction of over 30 ships! As you can see, I never really was a terror,
just misunderstood. Of course, there were stories of Tessie carrying a kid
on her back, and nobody accused her of KIDNAPPING. It's because she's
cute, isn't it? Nobody likes the ugly sea monsters, just the pretty ones,
it's a sad world.
I suppose you're wondering about the last part of my story. Well, as you
can see, by this time I had worked up quite a bit of spite towards humans,
and when four of them attacked me from a boat, and the other threw some
small fuzzy things that kind of resembles rabbits at me, I lost my temper
completely. I admit to all-out attacking them, but them provoked me when I
was already spiteful towards their species.
Of course they beat me, and I've lived in shame all these years. But now
you know, just what a terrible thing you humans have done, you've ruined
my life. I can never show my face in public again, and you're the cause of
it. Be careful, I might just come for revenge!
