A group of people were supposed to make a march today in Fourside. Unfortunately for those people (and fortunately for us!) the march couldn’t take place because of a police road block.
“Hey, you need to understand our point of view…” said Chief Strong earlier today. “Those people want to protest against us; it would be stupid to let them have their march. All they wanted was to bring the Police down in people’s opinion. By doing that, they’ll end up encouraging crime! We already have enough work to do! We don’t like to do overtime: We don’t need the money, we don’t feel like it and we need to relax to offer a good crime free environment.”
After this speech was made people were reluctant to help to protesters to get in. They joined the side of the policemen. Talah Rama, the leader of the group of protesters declared: “This is an outrage! We came here to protest peacefully and what to these officers do? They repress us! We wanted to make people aware of the Ghost Everdread’s situation. The poor Ghost must be hidden in a garbage can with nothing to eat but hamburgers as we speak. We want to police to go easy on him. If only he killed someone instead of doing the “crimes” that he did.”
Talah Rama also pointed out that the police tactic was unfair. “We never wanted to make the public angry at the cops… we just wanted to let them know the truth.”
When we told Chief Strong about Talah Rama’s declarations he replied: “I must point out that this immoral man said that the criminal Ghost Everdread did crimes.” He seemed pretty proud of that reply.
The protesters went home looking devastated. In the meantime, the roads will remain blocked between Onett and Fourside.
