Many make great ventures in the town of Onett to see the Giant’s Step, a foremost landmark, so that they may take pictures, sit in it, and say that they have been to it. In all respect, I must admit it was stupendous, until I got a close view of it.

I had taken a picture of my lovely companion, a mouse named Boris, and I was walking over to the step myself. At first, it was only a quick glance, but then I noticed something strange: skin folds. The little ridges on you fingertips and the soles of your feet are skin folds. I noticed that there were fairly large skin fold impressions in the ground in the Giant’s Step. Now, upon another examination, the soil in the Giant’s Step is fairly loose, you can manipulate it with breath if you blow hard enough, but it is not truly noticeable. Giant’s Step, according to my research which was done for weeks in my basement before I went to the Giant’s Step, succinctly showed that the Giant’s Step is well over four hundred years old. The erosion by the, at most, strongly mild winds should have erased all existence of skin folds in the Giant’s Step. Also, if it is over four hundred years old, why has not a blade of grass grown in it? All of this leaned toward a hoax, so I had to look into it further.

I also found impressions that would seem to be of scar tissue in the soil. Very well made, yes, but it was not close to being covered well at all. On top of that, my measurement of length versus depth versus width and other variables showed that no bipedal organism of any size could have balanced on such an oaffy thing. If this is the foot-print, where is the face-print from this clumsy thing tripping all the time, and how about other nearby foot-prints? It seems all too suspicious. And I could not resist a further investigation, so I hid myself and Boris in the vivacious terrain.

We staked out that night, and at about 2243 we saw some definitely human shapes walking around with, as I heard, “iron balls” and “rakes” being passed around and spoken about.

Because of what I have seen, I believe it is a safe thing to claim that Giant’s Step is indeed a hoax, although a beautiful one. The hoaxers, unlike the norm, took a great investigator and his mouse to solve, and should be allowed to secretly continue there work so that Onett can continue their flux of tourists to Giant’s step, and so that the beaty of the Giant’s Step be retained.
