For many years people have questioned what happens inside of the mysterious Stoic Club in Summers. Since the closing of the Stoic Club just a few days ago, many of the members have now disclosed what it was that they actually did.
Gertrude Simpson said, "Seriously, we did nothing. We stood around and looked at a rock. There's seriously nothing more."
However, Debra Wilson, another member of the Stoic Club, said, “We were like a smalltime KKK, except we were not racist, we did not wear uniforms, we did not kill anybody, and we did not burn crosses. Other than that, we were almost exactly the same”
The revelations of what actually happened at the Stoic Club’s continuous meetings have sparked surprisingly little controversy. Yancey Coalminer, a local resident who had attempted to join the club many times, said, “Thank god I did not join that stupid club. I did not want to stare at a rock all day. If I had known what they were doing, I would not have wasted my time trying to join.”
