Hello, and welcome to my new column for Eagleland News Central entitled
Wildlife Watch. In this column I, The Manly Fish Hunter, will take you on a
journey to explore the wildlife of many different sections of Eagleland. We
chose Onett as a starting point because its wildlife is quite non-threatening
compared to some other parts of Eagleland.
The most common type of wildlife you’ll see in the Onett area is a crow. These
little buggers can be quite spiteful and will try to steal anything you have
with you. The worst they can do to you is peck at your eyes and they are
usually not very dangerous. Many dogs also seem to roam Onett and attack people
that get too close. They will generally bite you, but stop every so often to
howl at the moon, a prime opportunity to escape.
These animals, however bad they may seem, are very docile next to the
sometimes dangerous wildlife of the nearby Giant Step area. Black antoids will
often heal any friends they have with then and will also call for help from other nearby cohorts. While not a threat alone it is this behavior that can cause harm. On the other hand, the mice that live here usually attack alone and can’t generally harm you with their
bite. However, they seem to occasionally get you extra hard and can cause some
damage in this way. Perhaps worst of all are the attack slugs. These creatures
rarely, if ever, attack alone and can be somewhat tricky to dispose of given their
small size. Luckily, these creatures can’t harm you very much at all.
That about covers the Onett areas wildlife. We’ll be visiting the Twoson area
next time so be sure to check back for Wildlife Watch.
